In the spotlight: Jenny and Sparkie

Jenny and Sparkie

Sparkie, an 8 year old retrained racehorse, is Jenny's first horse. Originally they had planned to get out and about and have some fun at dressage. But before their first competition, Jenny entered a Dressage Anywhere class just to get a bit of confidence and guage where they were and then she became hooked!

They did their first affliated competition in January and are now aiming to qualify for the PetPlan Area Festival at novice level.

Jenny said, 'I've used Dressage Anywhere both for a bit of fun to compete against friends - we set up a team at our yard and entered a team competition - and to do practice tests that I'm riding in competition. I have found the practice tests especially helpful as you get more feedback from the judge.'

Jenny and Sparkie are already half way to qualfying for the Area Festival and are now trying out Elementary with plans to make their affiliated Elementary music debut next month.
