At Dressage Anywhere we believe that dressage competitions and training should be accessible to everyone. There are a number of reasons to give it a go beyond receiving a scoresheet and a rosette - here's five reasons why it might help you and your horse.
Whether you're completely new to dressage or more established, we have classes for all types of rider and horse, from British Dressage Introductory right up to Grand Prix in our training class.
For Junior riders, we have sections at Intro, Prelim and Novice.
Veteran Horse, Ex-Racehorse, Freestyle and Friesian classes also feature in our schedule every month.
We've worked with Riding for the Disabled for many years and love running our RDA Online Dressage Championships. For classified riders there's the BD Para-Equestrian bronze tests.
Our judges are made up of a panel of British Dressage List 1, 2 and 3 judges - normally judging at high profile and national shows, these judges aren't usually accessible to unaffiliated competitions. These judges have gone through a rigorous education system and many are trainers and riders who have worked through a certification programme involving further training and examinations.
Busy life? We totally understand that; it can be a challenge to squeeze in practicing your dressage test but then organise family and animals so you can take a day out of your busy schedule to compete.
Our online dressage competitions are held every month and you can enter and upload your video at any time up to the 26th day of the month. So if you horse is feeling great on a schooling day, you can film your test right then and there and upload it for judging.
Find out what the judge is looking for with an entry in one of our training classes. You'll still receive a scoresheet and the judge will provide more feedback to help you with your training. Perfect for young horses or just to get some pointers before going to a live competition. Build confidence We all know that a horse and rider partnership works better on home turf. Competing in dressage online will give you that chance to remove nerves from the equation and focus on applying training. Getting a few online dressage tests under your belt can certainly help to build confidence before you travel to a live show.
