Dressage enthusiasts at Dressage Anywhere swapped their traditional riding attire for shades of rose and magenta throughout October to support Breast Cancer Now's iconic wearitpink campaign, raising a fantastic £50 for the charity.
The event saw riders taking part in their regular dressage tests, with a special allowance made for a splash of pink to encourage participation and fundraising during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The effort brought a lively and colourful atmosphere to our judges' computer screens, with riders and their horses embracing the theme wholeheartedly.
Combinations of bright pink clothing, vibrant saddle cloths, matching ear covers and bandages were seen throughout the month. The undisputed winner of the 'Most Dedicated to Pink' award (unofficial, but well-deserved!) was the partnership who competed with their horse sporting a magnificent pink mane and tail. This truly creative effort helped to raise a smile and highlight the serious cause being supported.
We are so proud of our October participants for entering into the spirit of wearitpink. It was wonderful to see so many riders get creative with their gear and show their support for such an important charity. Every penny raised makes a difference to the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
The money raised, a total of £50, has been donated direct to Breast Cancer Now, which funds vital research and provides life-changing care and support for anyone affected by breast cancer.
