The second leg of our winter league in partnership with the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) is officially in the books.
February brought some exceptional performances, including a tie for first place in the Preliminary class and a three-way tie at the very top of the Overall League.
Introductory: Tom Kelly and Claxton Lady moved up to the top spot this month with a solid 70.00%. Natalie Owen-Burns made a fantastic debut in this class, securing second place with Carrickrock Take A Risk.
Preliminary: We had an exciting tie for first place! Both Natalie Owen-Burns (on Carrickrock Take A Risk) and Jayne Adam (on Hillbilly Hunter) posted an impressive 73.48% to share the win.
Novice: Fiona Yardley and Carnsdale Irish Times continue their consistent run, picking up another 4 points to maintain their lead in the division.
Elementary: Lindsey Millar and Gortfree Rocky remain the ones to beat, following up their huge December score with another winning performance of 70.86%.
The Overall League is currently a 'triple-threat' at the top. Tom Kelly, Fiona Yardley and Lindsey Millar are all currently tied for 1st place with a perfect 8 points each. Close on their heels is Natalie Owen-Burns, who vaulted into 4th place overall after a massive 7-point haul this month across two classes.
