What a way to wrap up the series! The weather may have been a bit iffy this month, but our Irish Draught Horse Society (IDHS) competitors brought nothing but sparkle and precision to the arena. It has been an absolute joy to watch these versatile, kind-hearted powerhouses progress through the winter months.
From the rock-steady Intro tests to the sophisticated Elementary work, you have shown exactly why the Irish Draught is such a beloved breed in the dressage world.
In our final monthly leg, we saw some truly stellar performances. A huge well done to our March winners.
Introductory: Stacey Papworth and Penanns Castle Boy took the top spot with a lovely score of 68.18%.
Preliminary: Dawn Hodgson and Bazaars Lady of the Lake clinched the win with 69.13%.
Novice: Lindsey Millar and Gortfree Rocky impressed the judge to finish on 69.81%.
Elementary: Lindsey Millar and Gortfree Rocky completed the double with a solid 65.00%.
Consistency is the name of the game in dressage and these combinations have proven their talent across the entire series. Please join us in a massive round of applause for our Overall League Winners.
