Your Guide to the Dressage Anywhere Rider League
Hello, lovely riders! At Dressage Anywhere, we believe your hard work deserves more than just a scoresheet. It deserves a place in the spotlight! The Rider League is designed to reward the long game - tracking your consistency and progress across the season. It isn't about one lucky test; it's about the grit it takes to show up, month after month and improve your personal best.
How it Works (The Short Version)
The Rider League is our year-long points league for horse and rider combinations. If you're already competing with us, you're likely already climbing the ranks without even trying.
- Who is eligible? Any horse and rider combination.
- Which classes count? Every [Month] BD Competition, Ex-Racehorse Competitions, Veteran Horse Competitions, Freestyle to Music Competitions.
- The Timeline: Points accumulate from 1 January to 31 December.
- The Catch: There isn't one. Entry is automatic. If you enter one of the above competitions, we do the maths for you.
The beauty of the Rider League lies in its simplicity. You don't need to complete a separate entry or jump through hoops - you simply need to do what you love: ride!
The Scoring System: Consistency is Key
To make things crystal clear and consistent across our leagues, we use a percentage-based points system. No matter who else is in your class, your points are determined by your performance.
Here is how your percentage translates into league points.

| 74.00-75.99% | 8 points |
| 76.00-77.99% | 9 points |
| 78.00-79.99% | 10 points |
| 80.00% and above | 11 points |
Why Join In the Fun?
Aside from the thrill of watching your name climb the Live Scoreboard, the Rider League is about the 'prestige' of being a top-ranked online competitor. Set goals for the season - perhaps this month you aim for a 3-point score and by June, you're hitting the 5-point bracket!
Tips for Success
Check the Rules: Ensure you are familiar with the standard Dressage Anywhere Rules to keep your entries valid.
Review Your Scoresheets: Don't throw away those marks, review the judge's feedback for tips on how to improve those marks.
Don't Forget the Deadline: Entries close on the 26th of each month. Don't leave it until the last minute to film!
