Have you got a veteran horse ready to compete for the title this year? Here's everything you need to know about the Veteran Horse Championship 2026.

Qualification

Your horse needs to be 15 years or over. Qualifying scores come from our Monthly Veteran Horse Competition classes, Introductory to Advanced Medium. You'll need three scores of 60% or above at the same level, achieved between 1 January and 30 September 2026.

Key dates

Qualifying scores must be completed by 30 September. The Championship show runs online in October, with the schedule opening for entries this month. We'll notify qualifying combinations directly, so there's no need to register your qualification yourself.

Prizes

Rosettes will be awarded 1st-6th place in every class PLUS: 1st place will win a saddle cloth, 2nd and 3rd placings win some goodies.
